Madison's 2nd grade play Stone Soup

Last night was Madison's 2nd grade play they did "Stone Soup". She was very nervous to be on the front row, but I'm glad that she was so Landon could take a picture for me (even if this was the only one that was not blury :) )Although, I'm happy for this one and Landon had fun being the photographer. Michael, Landon, Madison, and Makenna went to the play, while Braxton and myself went to the High School for incoming freshman night...It is pretty crazy to realize that Braxton will be in 9th grade next year, he is nervous but after going last night and learning more about the school he is more excited. Landon will be in 6th grade, Madi in 3rd, and Makenna will be starting Kindergarten. They are growing up too fast...but we are loving every minute of it.... :)

We were finally able to go up to the mountain and play in the snow.....It was soooo much fun and we all had a blast.....

The Girls...

The Girls in our 3-d glasses.......after going to the Hannah Montana concert movie.......yes, we are Hannah Montana fans......we had alot of fun last Saturday going to the movie......it was pretty cool because it was in 3-d.......it was fun to have a girls day.....the girls were so happy that they even got some popcorn.....they had fun dancing and singing along with the movie....Madison kept giving me hugs and telling me this was the best day ever.......Makenna kept asking me when we were going home....I thought it was because she was bored (she has never been one to sit thought a movie at the theater) when she would ask me if it was time to go home, I would ask her if she wanted to go home and she said nope this is much more fun than going home.....all in all we had a great time together..... :)

Snow Day

The kids had to hurry outside and play in the snow before it was all melted by noon.......

I was hoping to get the quilts done for Christmas....I finished the girls but the boys I still need to work on......The kids had sooooo many baby blankets I didn't know what to do with them all....Madison wouldn't let me give them away....and when she found out that I was cutting them up she was not very happy with me....until I told her that I was going to make them into bigger quilts......I have never attempted machine quilting before and I'm having lots of fun making them.....

Stick Horses

The girls and I had so much fun making these stick horses......we laughed and laughed.....we think they are cute.....:) the girls like to ride them around the house......

About noon on Christmas day.....the boys found a small present that led them on a treasure hunt to more gifts.....a Wii and lots of games......needless to say we didn't see them anymore that day or since......

Snow.....

It snowed here on Christmas day.......first time since we have lived here.....it was very fun....

The girls got up at 8:30, peeked downstairs and then went and woke up the boys at 9:00...
