The kids had fun playing with their new toys.

The girls playing with their new toys.

We had to beg the boys to take a break from playing their games and come downstairs to get something to eat.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

We had alot of fun this morning opening gifts.

Christmas Eve pjs.

Every Christmas Eve we all get to open a present, some new pjs. We also watch a movie, this year we watched The Polar Express.

Artists at work.

This year all of the kids painted a picture for me and Michael put them in a frame for me. They are beautiful pictures and they had lots of fun painting them for me.

Braxton and Madison

Christmas Eve Braxton and Madison had lots of fun covering pretzels in chocolate. Yummy!

Ouch!!

Well, I didn't really want this for Christmas this year :( On December 4th I was headed down the stairs, like I do so many times everyday, to go get Braxton from school, and on the way downstairs my leg, arm, and right foot decided to go their separate ways and my ankle went pop, pop, pop and looked like it was barely hanging on. I called for Landon to bring me the phone so I could call Michael, he got home in about 15 min. Meanwhile, I tried to pop my ankle back to where it should be, held it in place and tried not to pass out. Michael got home and we called 911 since I couldn't move further down the stairs. Finally, the firemen and Ambulance got here, they splinted my ankle and took me to the hospital in the Ambulance. Poor Braxton walked home to our house wondering what could be going on with the Firetruck and Ambulance parked outside. On Wednesday I had surgery, and now I'am among the group of people that have metal plates, and screws in their bodies.

Madison and our Christmas tree

Madison in front of our tree, we are going to hopefully finish hanging up the ornaments either today or tomorrow. :)
should be a good Sunday or FHE activity.

our bird

The bird as found a new landing pad. In the kitchen above our table, we will have to be very careful when we are eating that nothing lands on our food....yucky..
The bird likes to fly into our entry way and land on our mirror and talk to its "friend" . It is fun to have around.

our poor puppy

Puppy is getting very old and has been very sick since August. Here she is after my attempt at cutting her hair and bandaging her up.

Makenna and her bird feather.

Makenna had one of our birds feathers, and she came in and told me that it broke and that she needed some FEATHER TAPE to fix it.

Makenna loves cheese

Makenna saying "cheese" while she is eating cheese.. :)

Braxton and Makenna

Makenna loves to sing and the other day she wanted Braxton to play the piano so she could sing.

Riding Horses

This past Friday we took the kids riding horses. They had a lot of fun. Madison especially LOVES horses. She really wants to take riding lessons when she is a couple of years older. Here are some pics of the kids riding a super nice horse named Brewster.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

The Kids coloring ornaments waiting for Thanksgiving dinner.

Happy Birthday Braxton!!

This year for Braxton's birthday cake he wanted brownies, so we tried to make them look like a cake...kinda fun and different.

Landon and his creative food invention.

Landon likes to take cut pickles and put them in rolls, sometimes he even adds ketchup....yumm yumm. He likes to be creative with his food.

Makenna

Speaking of pickles, Makenna calls cucumbers pickles, the other night Makenna came and told me that she washed her hair with pickles and doesn't it smell good, she was so proud of herself. After contemplating what she had just told me I remembered that there was some shampoo that we have that has cucumbers on it, and that is what she had used. So now when she goes to get in the bathtub she says she is going to wash her hair with the pickle shampoo. :)

Madison has lost her 2nd tooth..

Madison lost her 2nd tooth. Horray. Although the Toothfairy must have been very busy the night that she was supossed to come to our house and trade Madison's tooth for some money, so the next night the Toothfairy had to leave double......oops....Madison was happy to get more money tho'. So, it all worked out.

Makenna had tons of fun with all of the Halloween costumes.

Makenna loved dressing up in all of the costume. Here are a few of them, there are alot more of her in different costumes I will put on later.

Madison wanted to be a witch for school.

Madison decided at the last moment, literally 5 minutes before the school bus came, that she wanted to be a witch for the school Halloween party, so I hurried and found some what little black fabric I had and we wrapped it around her shoulders like a cape. She liked it so that was good. :)

Landon loves Krispy Kreme donuts!!

Landon loves Krispy Kreme donuts, last year for Christmas he got a gift card for his own dozen donuts...YUM!

Madison

Madison has always loved bunny's ever since she was super little. She didn't want any whiskers or the tail tho'.
