Today Landon and some of the young men from our ward went to Jewell, OR. They were able to ride on a wagon and throw out hay for the Elk.





Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area is managed to provide winter habitat and supplemental feeding for Roosevelt elk. Open pastures border a state highway, offering excellent viewing of up to 200 elk during winter and spring. Landon says that hunters are the ones that fund the reserve the most, I guess they want fat elk.
