The other day a little bird flew into our sliding glass door, it's not even that clean I don't know why birds like to fly into it. It couldn't move one of its legs and was dazed by the flight into the window. Madison got a shoebox to put it in and a little towel so it would be comfy. Later that day it was all better so she let him fly away. Madi LOVES animals. She was sad to see it fly away but happy that she had saved it.

Crabbing on the Coast
Michael and Landon just returned from camping and crabbing on the coast. Michael went with the Deacons and Leaders and they had a super great time. I was worried that they may get rained out but the weather was great, Landon even got a little sunburned on his neck today. They caught about 40-50 crabs but they were to little so they had to throw them back, maybe they will be big enough in a few years. The 3 that were large enough to keep and eat were 2 redrock crabs and 1 pretty good sized dungeonous crab.

Century High School Homecoming Week
Braxton was nominated and voted for by his peers to be one of the 5 couples of the Sophmore class Homecoming Court. Each class had 5 couples. He even got to wear a fancy tuxedo, we even figured out the cufflinks and tuxedo studs, luckily the bowtie is clip :) very handsome. Here are some pictures from the Assembly this morning.

One last campout of the summer
This past week we went camping at our favorite place Cape Lookout. We usually like to wake up early during low tide and pick up sand dollars and shells, this time we went to different beaches and had a super great time picking up Oregon Jade, Milky Quartz, Agate, Jasper, and Zeolites....We have now found a new hobby that we like to do as a family. We had fun exploring.
