This past week we went camping at our favorite place Cape Lookout. We usually like to wake up early during low tide and pick up sand dollars and shells, this time we went to different beaches and had a super great time picking up Oregon Jade, Milky Quartz, Agate, Jasper, and Zeolites....We have now found a new hobby that we like to do as a family. We had fun exploring.

Sand Sculptures in Long Beach, WA
In the afternoon we enjoyed checking out all of the sand sculptures along the beach. Braxton and Michael's favorite was the "some assembly required", Makenna and I liked the Pirate one, Madison loved the puppy dog one, and Landon liked all of them. Braxton and Madison are already figuring out what we can sculpt if we register next year. We also enjoyed walking along the boardwalk and watching all of the kites. The skeleton of a blue whale that washed up in 2002 was also interesting.
